What's available on my Plex Media Server?

  • TV Shows
    • TV Shows - Most normal TV shows I'm watching
    • KidsZone TV - A collection of older Kids TV Shows that were around when I was a kid (For the Nostalgia)
    • Anime TV - A collection of cool anime TV series
    • K-Drama TV - Korean drama TV Shows, mostly for the missus, but I think some of them are pretty cool too!
  • Movies
    • Movies - Most of the Movies I like to watch
    • KidsZone Movies - A collection of movies mainly aimed for the younger generation, like mostly Disney movies
    • Anime Movies - A collection of cool Anime Movies, there's not much in here yet
    • K-Drama Movies - A collection of Korean drama movies, again, mainly for the missus, but some of them are awesome
  • Audiobooks - For listening to while on the go or travelling
  • Music - A collection of music from artists that I enjoy

Software that supports Plex

To keep everything organised and automated, a collection of different software is used to make everything very simple to manage

  • The *arr suite of applications
    • Sonarr - Manages the TV Show libraries
    • Radarr - Manages the Movies libraries
    • Lidarr - Manages the Music library
    • Readarr - Manages the Audiobook library
    • Prowlarr - Keeps track of the torrent sources that feed the above software
  • qBittorrent - The torrent client that does the actual downloading
  • Sickbeard's MP4 Automator - Converts all the incoming video media into MP4 format before adding it to the library
  • Overseerr - A portal for my users to login to and make requests
  • ntfy.sh - A system for notifications so I can keep an eye on whats happening
  • Uptime Kuma - For a beautiful and easy to make status page, so my friends can see if things are working or not
